MEET THE TEAM.
everyBODY IS UNIQUE
AN INCLUSIVE, UNASSUMING SPACE WHERE everyBODY IS WELCOMED.
Pump is the brainchild of local resident and pilates devotee turned certified instructor Jennifer Shukofsky. A life-long fitness enthusiast and mom of three, Jennifer understands that every BODY is unique and ever-evolving. As a consumer, instructor, and later as a co-owner of a former studio, Jennifer noticed that many people found Pilates really intimidating. Pump was created to make Pilates more accessible and less intimidating- to everyBODY and anyBODY. Jennifer created Pump to offer her local community an unassuming and inclusive space to workout and experience Pilates. Rooted at Pump’s foundation is the belief that every BODY is unique, and at Pump clients are taught to workout safely and effectively- for THEIR bodies. We welcome pre- and postnatal clients, post-rehab clients, long-time devotees and beginners alike. With offerings you won’t find anywhere else and a team of rockstar instructors like no other, Pump is not just another Pilates studio. Pump is Pilates, rePurposed.

MEET THE TEAM AT PUMP

Jenn
Owner/Founder of PUMP. PILATES REPURPOSED
Jenn is a local Hoboken mom, fitness devotee, and a former stay-at-home-mom. After her 2nd pregnancy left her with compressed nerves and diastasis recti, she turned to pilates to aid in recovery and she was immediately hooked.
After obtaining her pilates certification (Balanced Body), she pursued a certification in personal training (NASM). She also holds a master’s degree from Boston College in Counseling Psychology, which affords her a unique understanding and perspective of the human psyche, and adds tremendous value in her ability to coach, motivate and support her clients.

Abbey Bell
Abbey left the corporate world nearly 15 years ago and has never looked back! Her passion for health and wellness led her to obtain her pilates certification in 2006. ABC, her yummy catering and meal delivery company, was opened shortly after. As Abbey likes to say, she’ll keep you healthy from the inside out!

Sabrina Sarabella
Sabrina is a clinical nutritionist, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. She has been teaching group fitness for over 20 years and holds several certifications and specializations in the field. Aside from being a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, she is also certified in pilates mat & reformer, as a yoga, barre and spin instructor, and a Reiki Master Trainer.

Sara Koeniger
Whether you’re taking your first class or you’re a Pilates pro, you can look forward to a positive vibe, great workout and instagramable moves in Sara’s classes. Sara fell in love with Pilates when she found it to be the one place to quiet her mind and focus on her self care. Sara loves spending time with her dog Kingsley and volunteering with Home For Good Dogs. Sara is certified in Mat, Reformer, Springboard, Trapeze Table/Cadillac, Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Magic Circle through Club Pilates comprehensive Pilates certification program.

Carson Zehnder
Carson is thrilled to be part of the Pump family! She started her pilates journey in 2019, and fell in love with the practice after taking her first class. Carson’s main goal is to make her clients feel confident and comfortable in their mind, body and spirit.

Sarami Soler
Meet Sarami — a Hoboken native with a big heart for movement, community, and connection. She began her Pilates journey in 2023 and instantly fell in love with the energy at Pump. What started as a new way to move quickly turned into a passion, as she began to feel stronger, more grounded, and inspired from the inside out. When the chance came to join the Teacher Training Program, she jumped at it — excited to deepen her practice and share it with others.
Sarami’s classes are all about creating a warm, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, confident, and supported — whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth. Her goal is simple: help you leave class feeling just a little better than when you walked in.
When she’s not teaching at the studio, Sarami is still teaching — she’s been an elementary school teacher in town since 2015! Outside the classroom, you can find her walking her dog around town, diving into skincare and self-care rituals, traveling with her husband, or spending time with family and friends.
